I think I may have a language file issue. The variables USER_CANVAS_TITLE and USER_CANVAS_IMAGE_TITLE are not translating. These variables are in the file language.php in the default_language folder. They are NOT in the language.php file in the en-gb folder. The only language I have installed on the site is English (United Kingdom). I am running J3.3.6 with CB 2.0.7 and CBSubs 4.0. Any thoughts on how I resolve this issue?
If you have the English language plugin installed and the string is not in your English language plugin then it won't translate. CB doesn't load he default_language if you have the English language plugin as you'd have 2 English languages loading and conflicting with one another. You need to add the string to your English language plugin or I suppose download a more up to date release of it below.
