Download Challenged...

New member and hate to whine but I'm completely frustrated and spending way too much time trying to find the proper files. Your download area is a mess. Here is what I tried

1. Received your nice welcome email with a link to the nightly build with a firm disclaimer "don't use on a live site". Ok so I looked for the download for the stable version in the Professional download area and couldn't find it. Ok, i'm a risk taker so I downloaded and installed the nightly build. It would be nice to place a link to the stable version on the email. Or list the stable version beneath the nightly build. or at least make your core installation package obvious in the "Professional Downloads" area. Finally realized the "stable version" is in the Free downloads area and is the same for free members and paid. once again maybe say that in the welcome letter with a link..

Trying to install a CB Template (Flexistrap) to make my CB profile page look good and couldn't find any templates. went here www.joomlapolis.com/downloads/downloads-single-items/cat_view/76-professional-member-download-area and the "template download area" and no documents came up.

Next went www.joomlapolis.com/downloads/downloads-single-items/cat_view/80-template-download-area and Flexistrap had 0 items and Coolness had this message "These packages are here for archived purposes only - they have been succeeded by newer releases." oh no, don't send me back to that download place...

Where do I download a responsive template?

The templates are not included with Professional subscription. They're included with the Developer subscription or as a standalone purchase. They're also not necessary for CB to be responsive as they're Joomla templates only. CBs core template is already completely responsive. Yes, our download section needs to be redone and it will be once we launch our new website. The below page is a great place to check for downloads for CB 2.x.

Thanks for the quick response. If CB templates are not required how do I make the CB profile view nicer "out of the box"? I am using one of the Yootheme templates.

It already should be nice out of the box. Where is that "Yes" coming from? Is it a field? It's possible your Joomla template has some aggressive CSS that's altering CB. Switch to default Joomla template and see if it displays fine as it should.
