CB GroupJive Menu Items

Hello,

I have the newest version of CB and Joomla 3.4.1. I have GroupJive installed. When i go into admin for GroupJive - Menus, I can create some menu items that appear in the GroupJive Menu area of Joomla. When i click to edit the menu so i can change the title i can see there is no Menu Type listed. When I change the title and click save i get a message saying: "Invalid Menu Item Type".

How do i get this to work. I have attached screenshot.

GJ has not been upgraded for CB 2.x yet. It doesn't have Community Builder > Plugin menu parameters yet. It won't be its own type either. The generated menu items from GJ > Menus are forced by directly inserting them into the database, but they're not valid when editing them so there's not much you can do to them. I recommend using External menu items for the time being.

THanks for the response. All want to do to those links is change the name (title) and move them to a different menu. I can most likely do that directly in the db from wht you are saying, I just can't ahve joomla do it because it doesn't know what to do with the menu type and thinks its blank.

Yup, you should be able to change the title and change their location directly in _menus. The alternative is using External menu items that just link directly to GJ pages beginning with index.php. A list of a few of these URLs can be found below.

I don't know. We'll be releasing CB 2.0.8 soon followed by CB Activity 3.0.0 RC1. Then CB Activity 3.0.0 RC2. Then CB Activity 3.0.0 stable. Once that's done I can begin the CB GroupJive upgrade.
