Field should be Read Only was created by camdri
In my CB Fields I have set READ ONLY for a specific textfield (for instance invite_code). But when a user is in registration mode the field can be modified!

What goes wrong?

Well, if you included a field on registration form then the user will be able to fill it out even if you have marked it as read-only.

After that however the user will not be able to make any changes to the field.

All of this is by design.

Ok thats a pity. But it concerns the invite code which should not be edited ayway.

I would like to show the USER_ID based on this invite-code see my other topic). Then invite code can be ignored (and not shown) on registration.

Is it possible?

The invite code is editable on registration, because the invite code could fail to populate from URL, maybe they're already on registration so they'd just copy/paste the code over, etc.. its usage is entirely on purpose.

My answer for that is same as in your other topic.
