check condition for usergroup was created by Proteon
I am on joomla 2.5 and CB 1.9 , and using CB Auto Actions.

I want to setup an auto-action such that, if a user is in the "Registered" user group, populate a field in CB with the value "Registered" .

Can you please help me with the exact condition for this?

Thanks,

Don't use conditions for that, but instead just set the Access to Registered so it only fires for people in that group. Where you do this is up to you though (e.g. could be after login).

Hi Kyle,

Did you mean like this?
screencast.com/t/gFiVMQ27

I did this, and it didn't work.

I repeat, this is what I need to achieve:

I want to setup an auto-action such that, if a user is in the "Registered" user group, the system should populate a field (User Type) in CB with the value "Registered" .

Please advise.

Thanks,

Yes, the Access parameter is the correct way to do that. You're using the InternalUsers trigger. That means the action will only fire if you access the Internal Users URL. However, you're on a significantly out of date release so I don't know if InternalUsers is even implemented or working in your release; it works fine in latest for CB 2.x.
