[SOLVED] registration mails go spam was created by giorgionasis
hallo there,

what should be done so registration emails not going to spam?

Change the registration subject and message so it seams less generic. Aside from that contact the mail servers marking you as spam and have them remove you from their blacklist. This is a nightmare to do for GMail though (took us like 2 years, but a workaround is to send emails from GMail SMTP).

Yup, nothing we can do about this. It's entirely up to the recipient mail server. If you're sending a lot of email notifications you'll want to only send the minimum and try to use PMs instead of emails to give little on-site notifications. I'd only send emails for registration and newsletters at most or you risk being labelled spam (only takes a few people hitting that spam button to blacklist you). It's a nightmare to deal with, but an issue every site will go through at some point unfortunately.
