I'd like to use Groupjive as a communication platform for my registered users. Especially the messaging and wall posting with files is very interesting.

I've setup Groupjive but got some errors like

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$access in
/home/letsmakemoney/public_html/test/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbgroupjive/admin.cbgroupjive.html.php on line 23

Is there any documentation on how to easily setup Groupjive just as a bulletin system without categories?

I've setup Groupjive but got some errors like

Cosmetic issue that'll be fixed in the upgrade. It's safe to ignore. If you use GJ events though you'll need the fixed build below.

You can't use it without categories. It's not possible to disable them. The best I can suggest is use the all groups page then edit the GJ template files and remove the back link to the category view from the group menu. See the below for GJs template files.
