Missing user fields

Hi,

For some reason 2 fields in my user database (first name & last name) have become unpublished and are no longer visible in my user profiles (however they are still searchable).

I have tried republishing them and get the error message:
Cannot publish row id 46 because: System fields publish state cannot be changed!

The field types are listed as Predefined name and username fields, however I don't recall them being listed as this previously!

In user manager the field don't appear at all, instead they have been replaced by an empty field: _pg_TotalAllowedQuotaItems

I have recently installed CB Subs, but have yet to configure it. Not sure if this is what has caused it, although I have tried unpublishing all CB Subs plugins and the problem still persists.

The name fields available are entirely based off "Name Style" parameter within CB > Configuration > General. Changing the style will enable the appropriate fields. You can still toggle their profile edit, registration, and profile view visibility though so ensure that wasn't turned off for them.

Thanks krileon,

Not sure why this suddenly changed, but your answer has solved my main problem. I still have an unaccounted field in user manager:

cb_pgtotalquotaitems _pg_TotalAllowedQuotaItems Integer Number

Not sure what it is doing there! I have unpublished it, however I'm hoping it hasn't created another issue by doing so...

That's an old field created by CB Profile Gallery. If you installed CB Gallery then CB Gallery migrated it to an integer field so it can still be used. It allows user by user gallery upload quotas. If you don't want it then simply delete it.
