Paypal gateway always requires credit card in paypal account was created by Ric-01

Dear all,

for the payment gateway PayPal I fce the following problem: after registration has been confirmed and logged in into the paypal account in order to pay the plan, German PayPal account always gives the message, that this payment can not be done by debit, but a credit card must be configured in your PayPal account.

Is this caused by any settings in the PayPal business account or is this caused by means of CBSubs configuration?

Within your PayPal account navigate to Summary > Selling tools > Seller preferences > Website preferences and set "PayPal Account Optional" to "On". If it already is then I'm guessing PayPal won't allow it to be optional based off country maybe and you'd need to contact PayPal.
