hallo there,

as described in the topic i know and you have informed that cb connect works with the www for the social login. but i have situations that users visit the site without the www.

what is the solution about this?

can i somehow avoid that?

That's because the social sites are domain strict. www is actually a subdomain and if you compare www.example to example they don't match. There's nothing CB Connect can do about this as it's just how the social sites behave. Facebook and a few others let you specify multiple domains in your Application configuration though. Alternatively you can use htaccess to force redirect to the www version of your site.

ok kyle,

i used the htaccess just for use that future changes on apis on social sites will not affect that.

Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^example.com [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ www.example.com/$1 [R=301,L]

this one works great

thank you kyle
