[SOLVED] CB - Fields Responding Slowly

I managed to break my CB Fields Editor, it was working fine initially.
When I attempt to "Add", "Edit" or "Save" a field, it takes 3 to 5 minutes for it to process. I attempted to reinstall CB (did no uninstall prior to reinstalling) but to no avail.
When I broke it, I was adding fields in two browsers with the same log-in, attempting to get finished quicker. I know it is my fault, but any suggestions???

What kind of field are you creating that's taking 3 to 5 minutes? I've never heard of or experienced such an issue even with all of our products installed. It's possible your Joomla install is overloaded for your hosting package. What do you mean you broke it? What's happening besides the slow down?

Kyle, allow me to begin by saying this is totally on me and not CB. When I attempt to add any type of field, it is slow.

1. When I click on "Add New" in 10 to 15 seconds, I get the first screen below.
2. The second screen below takes another 3 to 5 minutes.

The same thing happens after completing the page fields and I attempt to save a field, it takes a long time to process, same thing weather I press "Save" or "Save and Close".

Switch your WYSIWYG editor to None and see if the issue persists. Looks like you maybe using JCE, which could be causing the jQuery to load in slow. Do you have a lot of CB plugins installed? That could also cause slow downs due to a lot of plugins loading in their field params.

I started by changing the "Editor" to "None", average time to populate page was 3 Min 15 Sec.
I have "Disabled" or "Unpublished" everything associated with CB down to the last 4 Plug ins (see Attachment 1). Still, the average time for the "Add" or "Edit" fields page to populate is 3 Min 15 Sec.
Any other recommendation?
BTW, I got a notification in Joomla Extension Management regarding upgrading to CB 2.0.9 this morning but did not see anything on this website about it, was that false?

CB 2.0.9 is released. See front page for news article regarding it. Maybe it can help with your issue, but it's sounding like your host isn't able to keep up with the demands of your site. If you're on a very low end budget host then that'd certainly explain the slow downs. Another option is it could be your browser if it's entirely JS related; have you tried a different browser?
