I downloaded CB Builder and CB Subs, started working with the files and then had to put the project aside for the last couple of months. I'm back working on the project and am trying to read up on the installation instructions of all the CB Subs plugins. I've matched up all the files I previously earmarked for installation with their instructions in the pdf documentation except for one named:

cbplug_processor_paypaladvanced-4.0.0-rc.2.zip

I also have:

cbplug_processor_paypalpro-4.0.0-rc.2.zip

I found the documentation pages for the second file listed above but not the first and couldn't find anything online about that file either. Which of these or both are current plugins? Do they do the same thing?

There's PayPal Standard, which is included with CBSubs. PayPal Advanced, which is the top file you've listed. Then PayPal Pro which is what you have now. They are not the same and utilize different PayPal APIs. If you're just getting into using CBSubs I highly recommend sticking with PayPal standard as its setup is significantly easier.
