I know this maybe a little out of the scope of this support forum, but I image you-all probably know the best way to tackle this, so I'm going to throw it out and see what you think.
I would like to add a mapping solution to my website that would support two features:
(1) Create a member list but rather than show it on a list show the location on a map. The map would show multiple members with pan/zoom etc. Of course this needs to be protected by CB Privacy!
(2) Create a per member map that will color in the states they select. We are a travel type site and would be great for members to display the states they've visited by selecting the states from a check list.
I expect this to require an additional map plug in, which is ok, but there are so many out there, with so many know security DDoS issues, I'm wondering what extension is the best.
Any pointers how to approach this challenge is appreciated.
