[SOLVED] sorting a list at random

Hi,

I want to sort a list randomly. I tried and tried to find how to do this.
I really find it impossible to do this.
This is the instruction I found in the forum:
"Select "Random" under the "Recommended" sorting dropdown optgroup. Then select Ascending or Descending as desired."

I have no idea what this means:
- what is a "dropdown optgroup"?
- where can I find "Recommended"?
- where is it: certainly not in the basic setting in the tab sorting.

Any help much appreciated.

Ohoh: and then I found it.
Stumped by the translation of the word Random to its Dutch equivalent.
It is in the Basic setting, at the bottom of the the first list of Recommended choices.
