Applying Taxes Per Province was created by cagoffice
I am having a difficult time understanding how to link a certain tax rate to a province. I can only link it to a geographical location (aka Canada). I don't see anywhere where I can link it to a province or multiple provinces. I read the CBSubs Manual and I still haven't figured it out.

Taxes are applied to geographical zones. You can create new zones within CBSubs > Taxes > Geographic Zones. Click new to create your new zone. Once done and back on the Geographic Zones list view click "EDIT ENTRIES" to start adding countries and/or provinces to that zone.

So under Canada, I would need to have 13 different geographical zones (1 for each province)?

For Quebec, they have two different taxes and the 2nd tax actually taxes the 1st tax (sound confusing?). How do I do this? Right now, I can only add one tax rate. Is there a way to add two tax rates to a province but have the 2nd tax rate taxing the subtotal + the first tax?

Nevermind- just found out Quebec doesn't do that anymore.

A zone can have as many countries and provinces as you want. You could put all of them into 1 zone if you wanted.

You'll probably need to use CBSubs Promotions for your tax scenario then. A negative value promotion will increase the price instead of decrease it and a purchase can have as many promotions applied to it as you want.

I can't put them under 1 zone because then only one tax rate can apply to that zone. I have like 5 different tax rates for different provinces. I think I am misunderstanding how to connect a rate to a province.
