Auto-action creating CBSubs subscription?

Hi there

I am using DTRegister on my site, integrated with CB such that when a user registers for an event, a CB user profile is created for them.

I'd like to also set users up with a trial CBSubs subscription at the same time. Is there a way to do this via AutoActions? (DTRegister has a plug-in that will initiate a script after registration... in case that is a useful piece of information.)

I am going to hire a developer to do this, but if you are able to provide some guidance on the best way to make this work with CB / CBSubs, I'd be really grateful.

As long as the core CB registration trigger is fired or a custom CB trigger in your integration then yes. CB Auto Actions has a CB Paid Subscriptions action for giving users subscriptions.

Ideally your DT Register usage should create a user using CB API. See the below on how to do this. In which case you'll be able to just act on the after registration trigger, but be sure to send something unique with the user object to determine if they're a DT Register user or not otherwise it'd fire for normal registrations too.
