I am trying to upgrade CB to 2.0.9, JCE and trying to install Akeeba. I go the the update and do the upgrade and get this error:

Warning

JFolder::create: Could not create directory.Path: /home3/ipswich7

Update path does not exist
Error

Archive does not exist
Message

Error updating COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_.
Notice

Before updating ensure that the update is compatible with your Joomla! installation.

I have go the my host (Justhost) and they see no issue except:

The username for this account is hrscu1 not ipswich7. You would need to review the coding of your site and update the username it tries to use so that it does /home3/hrscu1 instead of /home3/ipswich7

I can't find that anywhere so do not know how to correct.

Can you assist?

Much Thanks
Michael

Ensure "Path to Log Folder" and "Path to Temp Folder" are set correctly in Joomla global configuration. sounds like they may not be configured correctly. Aside from that CB has no control over this as core Joomla handles extension install.
