CB Core Fields Ajax allows a field to be edited from profile view. It will not work in places without enough space. So fields in the canvas won't work well due to lack of spacing, but fields on normal tabs like Contact Info will work fine.
There's no tutorial for it. You install it, enable it, enable ajax editing for your fields and you're done.
