Kunena 3.x with GroupJive - integration issue

Kunena 3.x with GroupJive - integration issue was created by soniavanballaert
I am using GroupJive to create private forums but am unable to make Kunena use the access rights of the groups I have created. Is this a versioning issue, a bug or a config issue?

Replied by krileon on topic Kunena 3.x with GroupJive - integration issue
You don't create Kunena categories for GJ. GJ creates them automatically. You only need to create a top level Kunena category where all of GJs forum categories will be stored then set the top level category within GJ > Configuration > Integrations > Forums. When you create a GJ group it'll then create its Kunena forum category. Run GJ > Tools for it to fix this for existing groups. See the below topic for configuration details.
