Hi all.

I just discovered that when the plugin "Kunena - Community Builder Integration" is activated the preview function in Kunena does not work, I´m using the latest Kunena 4.0.3 and the latest CB 2.0.10 and GJ 2.7.0.

After posting in the Kunena Forum ( www.kunena.org/forum/k-4-0-general-questions/134136-preview-does-not-work#166657 ) and doing some test I narowed it down to be the "Enable Access Control" if set to Yes then preview does not work. Disable the settings and preview works ok again.
This setting has to do with the GJ integration.

If anyone else have this issue, please report this in the Kunena Forum and mybee this issue could be resolved.

There have been some issues earlier (with Kunena 3.0) but i think there was only 2 people reporting this.

Thanks

Probably has to do with the way GJ performs its access checks for group forum category access. I've already started the GJ upgrade so it'll be retested and fixed as needed with latest Kunena. Disable GJ Forums and see if that solves the issue and that'll confirm it's the cause.

Hi
Disabling the GJ Forum did not solve the issue.
The only way to solve it is to set the Enable Access Control => No in the plugin "Kunena - Community Builder Integration"

The preview is working fine in my tests. GJ is the only plugin that acts on the access permission check from Kunena. Disable CB Forums in CB > Plugin Management and see if that resolves your issue.

Is this happening specifically in a GJ group forum category or all forum categories?

Hi

Disable CB Forums in CB > Plugin Management and see if that resolves your issue.

This did not help. Issue is the same

Is this happening specifically in a GJ group forum category or all forum categories?

For now I do not have any specific GJ forum category so it happens for all forum categories.

As I said before if I set the Enable Access Control
to No in Extension => Plugin Manager => Kunena - Community Builder Integration
Then everything works fine, if I set it to Yes then preview does not work for any forum category.

But to be honest, I have no idea if this has to do with CB and GJ. Searching in Kunena forum shows that some other people have this issue as well but I'm not sure that they use CB and GJ.

Hopefully this is just for me but if anyone else have this issue, perhaps they can report it here.
(I'll be away for a month now so I won't have much time to check emails and forums from now)

Thank you for your respons.

It's fine to disable that as long as you have no intentions of having GJ integrate with Kunena. I'm not sure what more to advise though as GJ Forums is the only plugin that acts on that Kunena trigger to control forum access. I can't see any reason for this especially if CB Forums and GJ Forums have been disabled as they're the only plugins we have that integrate with Kunena. Do you have CB Auto Actions installed? If so try disabling it as maybe an action is doing it.
