CB Subs - Registration always stars with an ERROR message

Hello,

In the CB Subs configuration area (CB Subs > Configuration > Display > Plans > Access not authorized texts)

There is a field called:
"Following texts will display if you use a link to one or more plans:
Login or subscribe text (displayed if not logged in)"

The text in this field is of course very useful, because you can give instructions there about how to fill out the registration form.

The problem however is that message seems to be displayed via "enqueue error" in the Joomla System.

So what happens is that as soon as the visitors click on the sing-up button they end up seeing a big red error with that message in it :(

That is very bad for the sign-up process, because most users abort thinking they did something wrong... The fist thing popping up in their face is an error message.

So it's a bit unusual that a normal sign-up process will result in an error message every time the user tries to sign up.

Is there any way to have that message displayed at least as NOTICE so as to at least avoid the "ERROR" word in front of it and the red colors?

(I realize the error display it's template dependent, but the template works fine for all the other errors. The problem is that this message should not be an error in the first place...)

Any workaround possible to make the sign-up process more user friendly?

We've already a ticket to improve this. It currently is just sending that message as a registration error to the registration display function. This is done specifically in the following.

IN: components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbpaidsubscriptions/controllers/cbpaidControllerOffer.php
ON: Lines 68 - 76

The $regErrorMSG would basically need to be adjust to enqueue a normal message instead of sending it through as a registration error. As we don't support core edits I'm unable to advise further on this though.

Has this ticket that you mention been resolved? Do you have a ticket number that I can track someplace?

No, it has not been resolved. You can now however empty the message in CBSubs > Settings > Display and it won't show it at all as CB shouldn't display empty messages. CBSubs ticket tracking is private at this time.
