I use community builder login. I created a registered user from the backend and activated. When i try to login it says that "no permission" Then i change user to administrator or super user it works. When i am surfing site i change user to regular registered user again there is no problem.
To me when i try to login there is a problem with permission. I checked login module but couldnt see anything (there are delete, edit, frontend editing options) My problem is not being able to enter login page.
Also registering a user from frontend i get this error and registering doesnt end "DB function reports no errors." But i see the registration from the backend. It is a demo site with no users but with a lot of articles. I can reinstall CB if necessary.
I've no idea what you've adjusted in your permissions, but sounds like you shut off frontend login for everyone but super users. CB works out of the box. It's install and it just works. The only way for that to not happen is previous configuration like global permissions. Navigate to System > Global Configuration > Permissions to ensure permissions are configured correctly (e.g. Site Login).
