I had CB login module working fine. After I installed sh404, when user log in through CB login module, menu items that access to register users only do not show on the menu bar. If the users login through joomla login (from site offline), these menu items show fine.
I consulted with sh404, the problem consisted so I disable the plugin completely but still have the same problem.
Do you have any suggestion? I rather not restore a month old site backup if I don't have to.
I'm not sure how CB could cause this. CB has no control over menu item display or access. If you've caching enabled please purge it to ensure you're not viewing a cached page. Menu module display it self is based off Itemid and maybe that's the issue you're experiencing (wrong or missing Itemid). Disable SEF entirely and see if issue persists. If it does check the Itemid in the URL you're on where the menus should display then ensure your menu module is assigned to it or set to display on all pages.
