Using:
Joomla 3.4.3
CB 2.0.10
Groupjive 2.7.0

New website implementation for CB and Groupjive. CB works fine and also links correctly throughout the site.
I am setting up a site for registered members only, with a small public part. The members can use CB and groupjive menu items, once they are logged in and visit the members area.
This works fine for CB. But all created menu links for Groupjive do not show any content, only blank pages.

Created groups, created some members, all have their own login credentials, all belong to some or more groups. I am completely in the dark why not even the list of groups are showing on frontside when a newly created menu item is used.

I know it sounds odd, but I really need some hints. Documentation is almost non-existent and does not get me anywhere at this stage. Even followed pic-book (which only touches the surface of it...) but to no avail.

Please help,
Ben

How are you creating menu items to GJ? You need to generate them within GJ > Menus. Using Community Builder > Plugin menutype to the CB GroupJive plugin will only work to reach the Overview page. Please also ensure CB GroupJive is published within CB > Plugin Management.

Please note GJ is not yet CB 2.x compatible so it has some issues. I am already working on its rewrite.

Yes, I am generating the menu items within GJ. After that I merely place them (move them to...) a different menu. But that should not (as it is also advertised as a method in the pic-book...) disable the menu item itself.

Funny enough, when clicking on these "lame" menu items, I see the page title nicely change to the wanted title. But there is no content.

That is why I even set all the content to "public", and then still there is no content.

Something is blocking the display, but I am still at a loss to find what setting that would be....

Well then, in this case it must be caused by your last suggestion...
"Please also ensure CB GroupJive is published within CB > Plugin Management."
And.... yes, that was it. That is what stood in the way all the time.

Maybe the default setting on the new version will be changed to "published'. Never thought such a minor itenm could trick me this way....

Thanks for your answer, it was a great help...
Regards, Ben
