I understand. These other social networks are constantly changing their API's and CB must attempt to keep-up.
If I sound frustrated on the forums it is only because my users are frustrated too and I'm looking to CB for a solution. Please don't take it personally.
CB Connect having external dependencies is the root of most of these problems. It limits what I can do to fix issues. The dependency in this case is HybridAuth 3 and the social sites APIs. Hybridauth is open source, but I don't have the time right now to contribute to an entirely separate more complex project. I'll be re-evaluating the usage of HybridAuth after the GJ rewrite and consider just rolling my own API library or if contributing to HybridAuth would be the best option. I just can't put off GJ rewrite any longer as people have waited long enough so CB Connect will have to wait for now.
