When I try to modify a user it requires me to use the password before saving the change. Is there a way to change the field without requiring the password?
Most likely the user is experiencing browser auto complete/auto fill, which is causing the first password input to be populated but no the second. You can typically see this when editing your profile and seeing if the first password input has a value. For example I see no such issue on your site using the credentials provided as I didn't save the password.
We set the autocomplete="off" attribute for password inputs, but browsers don't have to respect it. If you're using LastPass (I use it my self) it absolutely will ignore auocomplete. Only way to stop it is basically clear the auto complete/auto fill in your browser settings. Alternatively just empty the input and it'll submit fine.
