It's likely bugged then. I'm already working on the GJ Events rewrite for GJ 3.0 where it'll be working fine. I don't know what more to advise at this time. I really don't suggest anyone get too heavily invested in GJ 2.7 at this time as I'm completely rewriting it from the ground up.

No, I'm working on it as we speak. We do not provide release dates. It's basically done when it's done. We'll make an announcement when Beta or RC release is ready for testing.
