I would like to show the the upload of photos, files, etc from CB gallery in the Activity stream. I tried the auto action to acheive this but not sure how.
The Trigger would be "After Creat Item" from CB gallery?
Then Type is Activity? If so, under the Action tab, what would be the Links? Will these links be linked to each new uploads?
The versions are cb gallery 1.0.3, cb activity 3.0.0, cb auto action 6.3.1.
You can not upload directly from the activity stream. That's not implemented yet. However, you can have activity log when uploading from CB Gallery. Follow the below and it should be working out of the box as the System Actions in CB Auto Actions are enabled by default for CB Gallery.
