Fair enough.
Curious though: when do you plan that migration (can I read/subscribe to news about it?) I'm sure it is a substantial task - are you guys planing a clean and easy migration from 2x to the next gen? (just want to make sure clients are aware of this and the budgets are available :)

The migration to the layout editor will just be built in a seamless. More simple than 1.x to 2.x that's for sure. We'll of course announce when the layout editor is in, how to use it, probably have a video tutorial, plus Beta/RC releases leading up to its stable release. It probably won't be until CB 3.x, but I don't know for sure as we're not really to a point where we can commit to a date regarding it.

The plan or phase 1 is to massively improve our substitution API as the idea is a layout edit that lets you build layouts that get sent through substitution parsing.
