Hi,

I need that my user can only send message to each other once they are connected, not before the contact request is accepted. Can you please let me know how I can proceed to do so?

Thank you,

Don't think you'll be able to stop that without writing a new plugin. We've no integration to UddeIM to detect PM sending and block them if users aren't connected. You'd probably need to make a new Joomla plugin that integrates with UddeIM if possible.

Do you think this would be possible with CB auto action? By redirecting contact to an error page if they are not friend yet?

Thanks!
Benoit

No, CB Auto Actions acts on CB triggers. UddeIM doesn't have any CB triggers. You'd need an integration for UddeIM specifically to check for this. I recommend posting in the below UddeIM category about this.

OK,thank you. And do you think I would be able to hide the name of contacts until they are accept friend request?

Also, is it possible to edit the url to avoid to have an url of this type: index.php/profile/userprofile/name

Thanks,

From CB, no. From a UddeIM integration, probably.

To an extent maybe. Joomla needs certain information to know where it's going. So a URL needs to be reversible and specific enough. The "profile" is the menu alias, which helps determine the component. The "userprofile" is the view to determine where in the component. The "username" is to determine who in the component. Removing any of those elements makes it difficult to reverse the URL. You'd need to modify our router.php to change how URLs rewrite or try a 3rd party SEF extension.
