Desactivate message for people who are not connected yet

For the name hidden I was referring to the fact of hiding the name of contacts in all circumstances (not only for messaging) until two contacts are friends...

Is this possible? I manage to hide quite a lot but when i go to the "contact request" page the name appear...

If this is not possible, maybe there is a way for forcing the same fake name for each user?

The name displayed throughout CB is often the formatname field. You can enable privacy controls on it, but you'll end up with a lot of locations not being able to render a name at all so it could cause a lot of display problems. It would be better to set the display to just username within CB > Configuration > General then let name only display on profile with privacy controls enabled on the name field(s).
