I am looking for a Joomla module that searches the members list + groups list and only that. Do you have that? Or any idea where I could get something like this?
We've no module for searching users. Best I can suggest is our CB Search Bot, which allows Joomla search module to search for CB users.

OK would be good to have it as people can then easier search for people that they want to connect with (fewer clicks). I will just put up an icon and refer them to the user list.
You can have a userlist search only those they're connected to by using Advanced filtering. You'd need to have a subquery to check if the user_id matches one they're connected with in the members table.
