Hey guys,
The problem with the GJ events is that not enough people see it. What would be great is if users could comment on the events and post new stuff (ie that each event gets its own newsfeed). If you could also make it so that the people who are attending (or maybe attending) an event get a notification as well that would be awesome.
GJ Events has a few notifications. Navigate to the group and click Notifications and they can receive a notification for new events, etc.. No commenting directly on events will be implemented at this time, but commenting on the activity that's generated for events should work fine already in CB Activity.
Sending a notification for when an event starts won't work without a CRON endpoint that's ran daily. I've no plans of implementing one at this time for 3.0, but maybe for a later release.
