[SOLVED] Emails not being sent was created by petekuhn
CB 2.0.10
CBSubs 4.0.1
Joomla 3.4.3
MySQL 5.5.44-37.3-log
PHP 5.5.28

Emails are not being sent on subscription expiry. We also have a mailer setup to remind about pending expiration 7 days before, and these are not being sent. Has been happening since we upgraded to 2.0 (just noticed).

Looking at other posts, I've checked the following:

1. Plugins Email and Mailer are published
2. Mass email to selected user works
3. Cron job has been running
4. Mailer is enabled.
5. Expiry is set to both cron and back-end.

I'm sure I just missed setting up something in the conversion.

TIA.

Does manually running the mailer queue work? Please provide a screenshot of your mailer configuration as it's possible to setup conditions that can never be met.

Manually running the mailer does not work (i.e., clicking on the cron URL).

Attached are screen shots of the Mailer config and the Mass Expiry settings.

Please edit your mailer within CBSubs > Mailer > Mailers and provide a screenshot of the parameters under "Main Mailer Triggering Conditions".

Based off your configuration you've it set to a very narrow 24 hours when it'll process that mailer 7 days before the plan expires. That's an extremely strict time frame. CBSubs calculations are also always done on UTC. I would adjust the 6 days before to relax the restriction then set message limit per customer to 1 to avoid spam. Otherwise you're going to have to run the CRON like every 6 hours or something and that still might miss some people depending on their expiration date.
