Strange double signup email? was created by netizenuk
Hello,

I started receiving a second signup welcome email and I don't know where is it coming from. The only extra that I've installed recently is the PMS.

The contents are:
>>>>>>>

This is a message from Unnamed user at (My Site's Name) ( www.myurl ....) to you:

Hello (FirstName) (Lastname), Welcome to our site!

NOTES:

When replying, please check carefully that the email address of Unnamed user is .

This user did not see your email address. If you reply the recipient will have your email address.

Notice the "Unamed user" !!!
The only parts I have substituted above are the ones in the ().
Any ideas where is this coming from ?

Edit: It is coming from the main site's email address exactly line the welcome email from CB.

Ensure you've latest CB 2.x nightly build installed.

www.joomlapolis.com/downloads/doc_details/640-community-builder-nightly-build

Next ensure you've latest nightly or build of your plugins installed according to the chart below.

www.joomlapolis.com/cb-20-addon-status

Next run CB > Tools and run the various database checking tools. Now within CB > Plugin Management ensure CB Core is public and published (should be forced and unchangeable). Then ensure the name, username, formatname, email, and password fields are accessible (on a published tab at the least).

If issue persists check if CB Auto Actions is installed as a Registration firing on the after registration trigger could probably do this.
