No third party plugins or extensions, modules, or plugins.
I have 7 "tab as field" fields. Doesn't matter which one I enable, they all break the user manager with an Error 500. Using the UseCases substitution and all work fine on user end.

I have 7 "tab as field" fields. Doesn't matter which one I enable, they all break the user manager with an Error 500. Using the UseCases substitution and all work fine on user end.
Please turn on Joomla debug to maximum level and see if extra info appears.
Are you substituting in a plugin tab? For example substituting in the CB Activity tab will break profile edit. You'll get the same result from most plugin tabs due to form within form issues. You can use the below usage to stop it from loading in backend profile edit.
Note you'll need latest CB 2.x nightly for the above to work.
