empty property after activating conditional plugin

Hi,

I installed the conditional plugin.
Tried it, changed the settings of several fields, watched endless videos with clear instructions, got it working.
After a week I tried it again and found that I no longer could update profile data in the frontend.
Tried finding what caused this, and found that when I de-activate the conditional plugin all is well.
I need it however, so I reinstalled it, and first did not use it in any field.
Still I get the same error message again when I try to change data in my profile from the frontend.

This is the error message:
"Fatal error: Cannot access empty property in /home/varpymbt/public_html/jug010/libraries/CBLib/CB/Database/Table/UserTable.php on line 290"

So I read the forum, and saw several messages that reported the empty property error. Read that sometimes it just goes away, that is is good to check the database, optimise it repair it: did all that, and got the same error message again.

What can I do to solve this issue?

Ensure you've latest CB 2.x nightly release below.

Next ensure your plugins are up to date according to the below chart (use latest nightlies if available).

There's already a bug ticket for this issue below, but I've yet to investigate the exact cause at this time.

Yes, our nightly releases are considered stable basically. Regardless we're preparing a 2.0.11 release soon if you'd rather wait for a versioned release. I still recommend using the nightlies of various plugins though as it allows us to push fixes quickly without having to do a versioned release just yet (currently focused on GJ so can't do full releases at this time).

With that said please be sure to make a backup of your site before updating anything just to be safe.
