Hi
Is it possible to add a user from the front end within CB or would I need a third party extension.

You'd have to logout and go through normal registration. If you mean backend user management in frontend then no there is no such functionality at this time.

Hey Kyle, what would work is that you disable the "send confirmation link" and enable the "show password in welcome email" and then some monkey sits there and enters all the information into the login module at the front-end by hand (I have to combine old fashioned excel list system with modern plattform technology for a charity project for elderly... quite a feat).

You can even give that monkey administrator rights and set one login module to "Special" ACL and only this one showing the link for registering new users, while you set another module as public but without putting the link for "Register new users" on it.

(for security purposes, I would set the menu for registering new users to "Special" ACL

That would work no? Then you have front-end addition by a specialised account. Please confirm

You can not even access the registration page while logged in. You have to completely log out.
