Don't use the Recent Activity page and only use the My Activity page or the Activity tab on profile. Both My Activity and the Activity tab only show your activity, activity directed at you, or the activity of your connections. If viewing another users profile and their Activity tab you will only see their activity or activity directed at them. The behavior of CB Activity is exactly that of existing social sites (Facebook, Google, etc..) with the exception we have a Recent Activity page to show everyones activity.
