Unable to Schedule Event in GJ: Calendar Inactive

9 years 3 weeks ago #271700 by catchupnews
I'm having problem scheduling Events for Groups in GJ. Event dates are mandatory (required) but clicking on the calendar icon has no effect. I've tried entering the date directly into the textbox using various date formats but unable to save successfully...

GJ reports 'Error Event failed to save! Error: Date or Time not specified!'. Not quiet sure if the issue of the popup calendar is to do with it's z-index and if so, where to find it to change and to what value.

You need the patched GJ Events. Current release has a jQuery conflict causing the datetime selector to not function.

We're currently internal testing and preparing GJ 3.0 Beta though which completely rewrites all of GJ and its integrations

Hi Krileon, Thanks, it seems to work perfectly and also resolves the problem of 'Reply' button functionality in 'Wall' posts but for the Group Creater only. Could this be an 'access right/permission' issue? All Categories/Groups creation is by Administrator only (who is also the only moderator). Members can only join/leave Groups.

No idea, it's buggy. GJ 3.x completely rewrites every line of code in GJ. Beta 1 has just been released as well with RC and stable to follow shortly after it. RC will have migration code so it can migrate from GJ 2.x to GJ 3.x.
