Hi supporters,

After creating blogs, I cannot click on "Edit" button in mobile view. I tried with Android, Iphone and Windows phone but it does not work. When I click on that button, image "Edit, Publish, Delete" appears quickly and disappears. I computer view, it works well and there is no such error.

Can you check and tell me how to solve that problem?

Thank you and regards,

Hai

Nick was unable to confirm on Android or iOS. Your issue could be due to Joomla template, a jQuery error (the buttons are jQuery driven), or broken HTML just before the button rendering. Switch to default Joomla protostar template and see if issue persists.

Hi Krileon,

Why don't you design it like the menu above? The menu works well.

I think, templates use many Jquery, we cannot use default Joomla template for our website.

I already installed JqueryEasy but it does not help.

Thank you and regards,

Hai

It is designed like that. Those 2 menus are using the exact same code. What their button looks like is irrelevant to its functionality. Does switching to default Joomla protostar template resolve your issue? Do not use extensions like jQueryEasy as they specifically cause fatal JS errors. Do not use jQuery extensions or compression extensions.

Hi Krileon,

I turned off JqueryEasy then used default template Beez3 and Protostar but the error still happened.

In your browser (non-mobile) press F12, select the Console tab, then refresh the page and see if there are any fatal (red) errors present. There could be a jQuery error causing it to break. Other than that I don't know what to suggest as it's working fine in our tests. It could also be a performance issue with the mobile device as my much older phone flat out crashes for Joomla installs due to poor performance of the device.
