Quick question - is your goal to make the sable release backward compatible with existing GJ installations?
If not will we be able to upload a database from old to new GJ?

GJ 3.0 RC and stable when installed over a GJ 2.7 environment will migrate everything.
OK, thank you, that's great. What is the plan with nested groups? Will they just be added as groups within the category?
Sorry for the questions... just trying to plan ahead.
Nested groups will just become groups of their categories. Nested categories will just become top level categories.
