Hi, first of all: I am really excited about the new GJ look...

Perhaps I don't understand:

I have a group with two users (the owner and an other one). When I promote the other one to owner, the group has after only this user. That means the old owner isn't anymore user of this group.
Is this correct as it should be or is this a bug?

EDIT:
Ah, I see: The owner seems not to be an Active. He never can be an Active!

When I have more users in the group and I change the owner, the old owner is not anymore listed. But all others.

ADDITIONAL QUESTION:
Why it's not possible, group owner is a groupmember too?

When you change the owner to a different user the previous owner is removed. It has always behaved this way. For the previous owner to be a user in the group they'll need to join it.

However, I think it makes sense for the owner to become an active user instead of just being removed and will change this behavior for RC. The behavior will be as follows on owner change.

Backend: Delete previous owner
Frontend: Demote previous owner to active

This allows backend to still function as management and frontend to allow owners to pass the group to someone else.

Thanks, this will be good

ADDITIONAL QUESTION:

if an active, moderator or admin sends notifications or messages, the owner will not get this?

The group owner is a group user. You should see them in the Users tab unless you've turned off owner display.

if an active, moderator or admin sends notifications or messages, the owner will not get this?

I've no idea what you mean by this. Notifications are group by group and user by user. The owner can navigate to the Notifications group menu item and select what notifications to be notified about.

sorry, I come back:

I have a group with 5 members (see image)
a superuser who is owner
a publisher who is gjadmin
a editor who is gjmanager
a author who is active
a registrated who is active.

all have the rules "get notifications"
each of this person sends a message from the groupmenu on the right side.
there is always the message: message successfully sent

in the diagram you see, who is getting the notificationemails.
the owner never get a notification (for me this is a bug!)

Only CB Moderators, group owner, and group administrators can use the Message feature. If regular users are using it you may have a CB Moderator permission problem somewhere. The person who sent the message will not receive the message. Beyond that there's no exclusion as to who will get the message; try checking the owners spam folder as maybe it's going to spam.
