CB GroupJive 3.0 Beta 1: GroupJive Menu Plugin issue

Hello,

I have this menu item:



Selecting the menu item and clicking on the Create Group button...
When a non admin with group create permissions tries to create a group, they get this error:



I looked at the categories configured, with the idea of seeing if it's possible to set one as default but cannot see a way to do that, so I looked at the CB GroupJive parameters > Groups > General and had Uncategorized off:



Turning on Uncategorized changes the error to this:



I changed the menu item from CB GroupJive > Groups to CB GroupJive > Categories, but this still shows the New Groups button and the same errors persist.

For clarification, when selecting a category, and then clicking on the New Group button it works, with Uncategorized on I can see that also.

This is with the non admin who has create group privs:



Any possibility of removing the New Group button when outside of a category or checking for issues before displaying the button, I know this works with admin for example.

So when using the New Group button on the All Groups page you get that error when Uncategorized is disabled? To clarify; it works fine when Uncategorized is enabled?

Ok, I see the issue with the validation rule on the new/edit group page. Will fix for RC.
