The uploading system for photos is kinda old school. You cannot upload several photos simply by drag and drop and it uploads the whole photos before re-sizing them.
Dj Classifieds is using the JQuery Plupload that resizes the pictures and only then uploads it (meaning it is very very quick) and you can drag + drop the images.
Could we have something similar for GJ/CB image gallery?
CB Gallery will get browser based resizing, thumbnail selection, drag and drop upload, as well as multi-upload in a future release. Tickets for this functionality are already on the forge.
