Is there a way that members of the website can subscribe to other members blogs or specific categories ?
Now It just shows up inside the activity feed (or I could send an email) but ideal would be
Member has a blog > post into a certain category
othermember has subscribed to this category so he will be notified (either inside the website or via email)
Is this actually possible ? (Using K2 as the blog system)
If using Joomla or K2 there maybe an extension available to handle the notification as blog entries use the Joomla content ->store function to store articles resulting in the content save trigger firing. Aside from that no there's no such functionality. I suppose you could use CB Auto Actions acting on the after blog save trigger and a Code action to run custom PHP to send notifications out though.
