Believe the below tutorial covers your scenario.

i try to do it with auto action,
triggers:after user registration
type:query
action: UPDATE `#__comprofiler` SET `so_id` = IFNULL(so_id,0)+1

so_id - int number, only for read

as a result my new user get 1, oldest user get higher number. aadditionally i want that this field was incremented only for register user group (not admin/moderator - backend registration)
Maybe it could be done by query field type not auto action?

The tutorial covers your exact usecase. Please watch it carefully. You need to create a field within CB > Field Management. It then will SUM the existing field values and increment by 1 so each user is constantly increasing.
