Professional Membership but getting error messages when trying to create a topic

9 years 2 days ago #272792 by moozarkgrl
This is a big pain! Could someone check and see why even though I have a Professional Membership plan, when I try to create a topic I keep getting errors. Sometimes I can get through and sometimes I can't.

Aaack

It depends on how I get to the forum. From Support Menu - Open Ticket, I get "Access to this menu item not allowed without membership".

From Support Menu - Forums - Professional Forum - New Topic, no error message. But after it posts, I cannot submit another one without getting the above message again.

Logging in and out doesn't seem to help - it seems the direction I get there? Strange.

When you just use create topic you need to select Professional in thae category drop down.
By default it is set to the first category in the area which is Developer which you do not have membership in.

Sounds good but there is no "dropdown". As soon as I click on Open Ticket it goes directly to my Membership Upgrade possibilities. Only option is to upgrade ???

ticket is not a forum topic.

Private tickets are only available to 12 month Professional subscribers and Developer members.

You should just start a new Professional support forum topic for each issue you have.
