After searching for a long time and finding no answer, I found the answer 2 minutes after posting my question. Isn't that the way it always goes?

For any future searchers, my answer was found here: www.joomlapolis.com/forum/153-professional-member-support/230880 I gave my moderators access to the CB User Manager, and nothing else.

[strike]I have set my moderator usergroup, and they can edit user profiles on the front end just fine... everything except for the username field. I do not want users to be able to change their own username, so I have this option set to NO in the CB > Configuration area.

I have this field set to Read Only = no in the CB > Field Management.

The moderators cannot access the back-end CB user manager. (although if I could allow them to access ONLY the user manager, I would)

Is there a way to implement it so that my moderators can change the usernames?
