Everything is working here for me with latest nightlies installed.

If that's right, it's a very bad news. These groups are for school parents, most of them not very at ease with Internet and even less with internet community.
I prepared for them a tutorial but never mentionned the notifications as GJ 2.7 were automatic. I made a formation. And now I have to go back to them all (100 groups) to tell them to see for notifications ? Very very bad news.


You can also just turn on everything in Defaults Notifications tabs of each of the GroupJive plugins. This way everything will be by default on and users will need to turn things off.

I prefer your latest reply even if it's not working !
In fact, all plugins notifications are already on "notify" as it was on GJ 2.7.

I am testing more specially the wall notifications as it's important when we need to quickly send information to parents.

Default Notify parameters do nothing if a user has an existing notification row. The defaults only apply for newly joined users. Edit their notifications within GJ > Notifications and see if they're actually configured to receive notifications. All notifications have been tested working with Email and PM usage.

If Email usage isn't working ensure emails are working in general by sending a mass mailer to your user within CB > User Management. If PMs aren't working ensure they're working in general using Quick Message tab to PM another user.
